Do you know what you should not use in your H1N1 Swine Flu survival kit? Really, this could be for any kind of flu.
The WHO has warned that the H1N1 Swine Flu has the potential to afflict more people than we could imagine. What can you do to prepare?
There are a number of H1N1 flu survival kits on the web. Do you know what you should have and what you want to avoid?
Two studies have demonstrated that boosting your glutathione (GSH) could be an effective way to prevent H1N1, Bird Flu and numerous other health concerns including other kinds of flu. The active ingredient in several respiratory medicines just happens to be a natural supplement that helps your body make glutathione.
Yet most survival kit recommendations you not to include the drugs that increase your glutathione. Rather, they include the one drug that depletes glutathione (GSH). As a matter of fact, if you overdose on this GSH depleting drug, the rescue medicine to save your life is a drug that has a singular purpose of boosting your glutathione. It is the one referred to above, the one associated with protecting you from H1N1.
So, would it be reasonable to take a medicine that would deplete the one thing in your body that would protect you from the H1N1?
What if this protective supplement did even more than the one to avoid? Well. literature indicates not only does it work, it works even better than we could imagine.
What is the drug that depletes your glutathione, the one to avoid?
It is acetaminophen.
Everything it does that is supposedly good, it turns out, studies show that the same supplement that protects you from an acetaminophen overdose, NAC or N-Acetylcysteine actually does even better. Just look at some of the swine flu symptoms, then do a search on them and this supplement (you will find out more about it below).
N-Acetylcysteine. According to research, it protects you from the flu. If you should get the flu, your symptoms will be so mild, you will not know you have it while your body is making antibodies so you will never get this kind of flu ever again. Most recommendations suggest taking up to 600 mg and you can take up to twice a day. But do not take after 3PM as it may keep you awake.
Zinc lozenges and food grade zinc supplements. Zinc lozenges have been shown to clinically decrease the duration of a cold. Of everyone who has ever tried them for a sore throat, you will be told that they knock out a sore throat before it becomes worse. Zinc is also one of the co-factors of glutathione.
A month supply of Brazil Nuts. Each nut is packed with 100 mcg of selenium. You need 200 mcg or 2 - 3 nuts a day to help boost your glutathione with this second essential co-factor.
A two week supply of food for the family.
A two week supply of water for each person in your home.
Remember, water will not maintain its freshness. It only has a shelf life of about 3-6 months.
Commercially made electrolyte drinks are not the best choice. A better choice, purified water and a supply of unprocessed or raw salt. This kind of salt will have up to 80 different minerals in addition to the electrolytes. The best information on this option can be found at WaterCures.org
A hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol (If water and soap are not available).
Surgical masks (FDA rating of at least N-95) to help prevent spreading the flu.
Masks need to be disposed after each use, and should be changed often.)
Because healthy food or fresh food may not be available, supplements, vitamin C, niacin (it protects from radiation as does iodine) and any other supplements that you would routinely take. In the case of vitamin C, taking up to 6000 mg a day if sick can improve the time it takes to get better.
Wild caught canned fish, like salmon or sardines. These are rich in antioxidant omega oils as well as calcium.
Since milk spoils so easily and does help produce strong bones (according to the Harvard Women's Study), no need to bring it. How many animals drink milk once they are weaned? Only humans. How do cows get strong bones?
Don't think you can skip the food and take calcium supplements. They put you at risk for heart complications that include death.
MOM or Milk of Magnesia in order to make magnesium bicarbonate. This is an essential electrolyte. A one liter bottle of soda water and 45 ml of MOM and you have the makings of a month supply of mineral water. You will need some bottles of soda water to make your magnesium bicarb water.
We will update the H1N1 Swine Flu Survival Kit page as new information becomes available.

The Way to Make More GSH For Free
Glutathione has a high affinity for water. Simply put, if we are dehydrated our bodies may not make as much as they could. Or, what we do make may be less effective.
Usually there is something more than just being dehydrated. Often there is a condition called fluid and electrolyte imbalance, less than bodies needs. There is a simple, easy and inexpensive way to correct this, allowing your body to produce even more GSH.
The Water Cures Protocol really works. Give it a try today.
It is simple, easy, sustainable and affordable (the salt should cost less than $10 a year).
And like GSH, it will help with over 76 different diseases and conditions.
