Weight Gain Drugs

Would you like to avoid both weight gain drugs and weight gain as you age?

Weight Gain Drugs

Did you know there are weight gain drugs? This is not about drugs to help you put on weight. This is about drugs that have a bad side effect of causing weight gain. Both the drugs and weight gain are related to aging. This is makes it twice as hard to deal with the aging management.

The Diseases of Aging are associated with decreased glutathione. If you have to take these drugs you will have additional weight gain risks.

What would it be worth if you could maintain health and avoid the need to take these drugs? Would it be worth the effort? The time?

To maintain health so as to avoid these drugs is called aging management. These can be avoided if you take the right steps before it is too late.

It involves a two step program. Boosting immunity and optimizing the dietary intake of foods to promote health. More on this later.

Weight Gain Drugs

What are the drugs associated with weight gain?
These include but are not limited to...

imipramine (Tofranil)
desipramine (Norpramin, Pertofrane

These are drugs to treat depression called tricyclic antidepressants.

MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors)

These are selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Some taking these will lose appetites and experience weight loss

paroxetine (Paxil)
citalopram (Celexa)
escitalopram (Lexapro)
sertraline (Zoloft)
fluvoxamine (Luvox)
fluoxetine (Prozac)

These are among the drugs used to treat bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric conditions. They can result in weight gain.

olanzapine (Zyprexa)
valproic acid (Depakote)
haloperidol (Haldol)
lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid)
clozapine (Clozaril)

Weight gain results in some stopping taking their medications resulting in a return of the symptoms requiring the medication in the first place.

Prednisone, a synthetic corticosteroid hormone or "steroid" (not the same steroids that bodybuilders take). Prednisone is used to treat illnesses associated with inflammation such as asthma and even arthritis. This should never be stopped without consulting the doctor who started you on it.

For all the wonderful things it does, Prednisone can result in a stimulated appetite and weight gain for some long term users, not necessarily all though.

Beta blockers used for heart disease and or high blood pressure

Some anti-seizure medications

GERD (acid reflux) medications

Many of these diseases are associated with decreased glutathione levels. Logic points to improving our glutathione would help prevent the onset of these diseases.

Since many of these diseases are managed by diet, investing in our dietary intake could prevent or help manage the symptoms of these diseases.

The Way to Make More GSH For Free

Glutathione has a high affinity for water. Simply put, if we are dehydrated our bodies may not make as much as they could. Or, what we do make may be less effective.

Usually there is something more than just being dehydrated. Often there is a condition called fluid and electrolyte imbalance, less than bodies needs. There is a simple, easy and inexpensive way to correct this, allowing your body to produce even more GSH.

The Water Cures Protocol really works. Give it a try today.

It is simple, easy, sustainable and affordable (the salt should cost less than $10 a year).

And like GSH, it will help with over 76 different diseases and conditions.
