Swine flu symptoms are the same as seasonal influenza symptoms. Incidentally, influenza and flu are referring to the same thing.

It probably is the flu if you.......have sudden onset of the above symptoms and it is the flu season.
Note: that other respiratory diseases and illnesses can have the same or similar symptoms. Only a doctor can tell if you have the flu and then by the use of medical tests.
In all cases, if you are sick more than 6 days, you should see the doctor right away.
Consider George who, refused to see the doc even though he was not getting better. Once he even commented on how the news says doctors prescribe too many antibiotics.

Influenza is serious on its own. The swine flu symptoms, although similar, are the pretext of something worse. It is important to take steps to protect your health if you do get sick.
