Here is how to drink more water. The daily goal is to drink half your body weight in ounces of water. That may seem like a lot of water to drink. To drink more requires a change in the way you think and drink.

How to Drink More Water: Develop a System

Get the number of bottles to equal your daily requirement or get one big bottle. Fill them up every night and allow them to sit open to the air. Any chlorine than your filter did not get out will evaporate.

A three liter bottle holds about 100 ounces of water. Simply adding extra smaller bottles or putting a line at the appropriate level of a large bottle will provide for the those over 200 lbs.

Best Time to Have a Drink

Lets assume that we have a 300 pound person to take this to the extreme. They will require a bit more than nine glasses a day.

Drink One to Two Glasses (16 to 32 oz) on getting up and at least 20 minutes before you eat breakfast.

Salt: Your Essential Electrolyte

Salt will help you be a bit more thirsty. This will start your day off at 2 glasses.

One glass mid morning, about 10 in the morning.

Drink one to two glasses one half hour before eating lunch. (this brings the total up to 5 glasses) Don’t forget the ⅛ teaspoon of sea salt on your tongue.

One Glass about 3 in the afternoon which brings the total to 6 glasses.

Drink one to two glasses before supper. This brings the total up to 8 glasses.

Drink one to two glasses (16-32 oz) of water about one hour before going to bed.. This will account for 9 to 10 of the daily requirement.

Don’t Forget to Cut Back

As you start to lose weight, do not forget to cut back on the number of glasses you drink.
